Thank you for doing this interview. I do have one question about their cashmere. I had heard through news and other podcasts most of the finer yarns like cashmere really don’t make it to the makers market because most of it goes to Milan Italy for fashion. Is this something you can speak to?

@@whereweknit Excellent question! This is Amy. I understand that there is something to what you heard -- that the best cashmere fiber isn't usually sent to be made into yarn for knitters. However, our founder, Sy Belohlavek, began the company producing yarn for knitters and we send the finest, longest, most uniform fibers to be milled into yarn for makers. It makes an incredible difference. The yarn is able to produce garments with structure that can be worn and worn with little to no pilling. It's amazing. Thank you for asking!

@ great to know you…as a podcaster..will not take any constructive input ….but only want praising…..too bad…you should be talking up local families and dyers and yarn makers who support their families in this country ….who can benefit from all the money these wealthy people have to pour into this now ‘popular” industry with all their spending money and the high cost of everything related to knitting these days….but you seem not want any remotely critical input….too bad
@jhug-mann

Hi, fellow viewer of the podcast here! I don’t find your comments particularly helpful or constructive. As someone who wants to see her podcast thrive and grow, I appreciate that she highlights yarns and brands she has actually used rather than choosing one she has never tried. She does spend a lot of time highlighting SMALL and local businesses in every episode. She films almost every episode in her local yarn store, she did an interview with indie dyer Fiber Macgyver, she highlighted Orchard Acres Textiles (a SMALL and RURAL business in Minnesota). So she IS putting out the content you are looking for. Seems like you ONLY want her to put out content you support, and if that’s the case it might be best to stop watching and unsubscribe. Also, is commenting on a KZbin video really the best way to provide feedback????? She links her email and Instagram in the description box. You could always send her a private email or direct message instead of shaming her publicly, which you have done more than once…
