AppSense DesktopNow and Ivanti User Workspace Manager are the same product, Ivanti bought AppSense. Citrix WEM provides profile management, policy enforcement and some performance optimization targeted primarily on Citrix platforms. Ivanti User Workspace Manager provides profile management, policy enforcement, performance optimization, application whitelisting in enterprise grade deployments, privilege management and is commonly deployed across physical and virtual in a highly scalable design. If you have a small to medium Citrix only deployment and just want profile management with a bit of policy the Citrix product may meet your requirements.
