Having a low voice doesn't mean being a bad singer. She sings exactly the way she does in her studio version if you ask me but yeah you can hardly hear her because she has a low voice, she's not the best singer, even Selena says she isn't. But still that was AMAZING.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this performance, i can guarantee the sound technician plugged a 1/4 Jack cable in instead of a M/F XLR and thats why you can't hear her (music tech student)... plus it just shows that she doesn't lipsync

At 2:55 she hit a really decent and powerful C5. It was overshadowed by the shit amount of backtrack and backup singers that were overpowered. I think she did good, not great but good. People need to understand the difference between a bad singer and someone with a weaker voice. Selena is the latter. She can't project her voice that loudly but her singing is still great, in my opinion. She is in tune, after all it is her song. I don't think vocally she was weak. A year without rain is a simple and soft song and idk why the sound producers couldn't raise her microphone volume or fix it to where you'd hear the lower parts of the song better . I'll Tell you who was off tho, that background singer who came out of blend at the end😂😂. I know she was supposed to take the higher note but she just ruined the simplicity of it in my opinion they should've had someone with a lighter tone do it
