Kinda clear for hide glue. I’m thinking this is fish glue. It’s what they call isinglass I believe. From what I understand it supposed to be a little bit stronger bond than hide glue.

I love that over driven sounding tone that the finer acoustic guitars have. A lot of acoustic guitars just don't have it and never will. Some do. I played an old Washburn that had it, it was amazing.
