Hide glue is great glue to work with and its strong and make its easy next time to take something apart. You have really sharp and nice chisels to work with. Very cute dog, thanks for the video :D

As a fellow luthier for probably longer than you've been alive I salute you. Very well done, the only thing I would have done different is filling the string channels in the top and bridge plate. Overall fabulous work Tanya!

I was a little skeptical at first, but the end result was very good. I do question varnishing the instrument though and cringed a little when you removed the pick guard but a very interesting video. I’m proud of myself when I change my strings! 😄

I've watched several of your videos and I think you should look at obtaining one of the Model Machines thickness sander. That would help you reach better perfection. When I re-fit a dove tail I machine a shim to fill the gap that results when the new position is found. I then use half of the thickness of that shim and machine material to make two shims either side of the dovetail. The end result is a perfect fitting neck joint. The hand carving gets a good but slightly inconsistent result. Sometimes better, sometimes not so much. Using a thickness sander you can work to plus minus 0.001" have much improved consistency. I think you'll find the machine to be a wonderful addition to your shop. You do nice work... I'm impressed.

Tanya you are a Master Craftswoman and really enjoy watching you work on these guitars ,A tip that may work for you is put a Pastewax or wax on the guitar and on the neck before steaming off the neck ,It helps protect the finish ,GodBless you and your work mates
