I have watched this interview. Very nice farm. For interviewer, I request that you become so specific in your questions. For example: 1. Background and History Can you tell me about how you got started in dairy farming? How many years have you been in the dairy farming business? Was dairy farming a family tradition, or did you start the farm yourself? 2. Farm Operations How many cows do you currently have on your farm, and how much milk do they produce on average per day? What are your daily routines and key tasks on the farm? What are some of the most important tools, machines, or technology that you use to run your dairy farm efficiently? How do you manage the feeding and nutrition of your cattle? 3. Challenges What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in dairy farming, and how did you overcome them? How do you deal with fluctuating milk prices or changes in the dairy market? How do you manage animal health and prevent diseases in your herd? 4. Sustainability and Innovation Have you implemented any sustainable or environmentally friendly practices on your farm? What role does technology play in improving efficiency or production on your farm? How do you manage waste and manure disposal in an environmentally responsible way? 5. Financial Management How do you manage the financial aspects of running a dairy farm, such as costs of feed, labor, equipment, and veterinary care? What strategies have been most effective in maintaining profitability? Have you sought any external funding or subsidies to support your farm’s operations? 6. Marketing and Sales How do you market your dairy products? Do you sell directly to consumers, through cooperatives, or via distributors? Have you explored any value-added dairy products like cheese or yogurt to increase profitability? How do you maintain relationships with your buyers or customers? 7. Labor and Workforce How many people do you employ on your farm, and what are their roles? What are the challenges of managing a workforce on a dairy farm? How do you ensure that your workers are properly trained and motivated? 8. Regulations and Compliance How do you stay up to date with the regulations and standards that govern dairy farming? Are there any specific regulations or policies that have been particularly challenging for you? 9. Advice for New Farmers What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out in dairy farming? What qualities or skills do you think are essential for success in dairy farming? 10. Future Goals What are your future goals for the farm? Are you planning to expand or diversify your operations? How do you see the dairy industry evolving in the next 5-10 years, and how are you preparing for those changes?

Point of correction on the genetics. It is wrong to say that when you breed Ayrshire and a Friesian you will get Red Friesian. That is mis information. Red Friesian is a genetic by itself originating from Netherlands. The other misinformation is on the difference between Holstein and the normal Friesian. A cow having more white color than the black doesn't make it a Holstein. Their Holsteins that have lesser white color and more black color. The main ways to differentiate the 2 is body frame, weight and production. Holsteins are tall wide and huge with higher production than the normal Friesians.

When you breed a Friesian with a Ayrshire depending with the sire and the cow being inseminated, you get either an Ayrshire calf at the appendix stage of breeding or vice versa.
