Been loving your videos recently. I know you've mentioned him in a few videos, but I can certainly see Dewayne Noel's influence on your videos, but you do a great job of standing out and being yourself. Keep it up and may God bless you and your family. I'm also located in Ohio and interested in homesteading, but it seems harder in the Midwest than out on the plains from what I've seen. What area of Ohio are you in, and how has the area affected your homestead?

The biggest issue we have here is the clay based soil and our property is very hilly so it makes projects more difficult

My grandfather was physically and emotionally abusive to my mother, and it definitely affected her life. My mom just recently passed away at 82, and it saddens me to think she never had that connection with her dad. She was one of 14. I try to be a good father to my kids even if I have a bad day at work and if im stressed. It's not easy to do. im not perfect, but i try so can be remembered as a good father.

When a family goes through a cycle like that, it’s the duty of every man to do his best to put an end to the evil that his forefathers established. Corey you could be the man that ends the line of violence and abuse in your family. Be the beacon that you wish your parents and your grandparents had in your children’s life. You got this!

I got married at 19, ive been married to my wife 15 years this month and we have 4 great kids. I have zero regrets about getting married early or baving 4 kids. We try to have a long term mindset with everything we do

I can relate to this line of thinking very well. Undoing the effects of poor/harmful generational influence is quite a task. That being said, it is obvious that you are well on the way to overcoming that influence. Unfortunately it is a lonely journey at times...but...God will go with you, remember that.
