Xyz was my first deck back in the day. Its crazy how this deck is so good now. I remember rocking 3 shining angels with 3 luminous spark and 3 ultimate offerings in that build.

Hello! One question I was using Union Hangar in Master Duel but there's something strange or I didn't understand how the card works. Union Hanger let me search a Union machine but only A core ,B Drake or C Wyvern but not Y Dragon or Z Tank. Why? Sometimes I have X already on the field, I summon for examble Z tank, Union Hangar don't let me search for Y Dragon. What's the condition or Union Hangar it's limited to search A,B,C? Thanks a lot!

Because y and z require x to equip unlike abc they can target any light machine type

Union Hangar lets you search A, B, C, W, Y and Z. However, you need to pay attention to what you summon to trigger Hangar's second effect. Hangar only equips APPROPRIATE targets from the deck and only triggers if the summoned monster is a LIGHT Machine Union monster. W, Y and Z all have restrictions that let them target only specific monsters that coincidentally don't work with Hangar because V and X are normal monsters. So, summoning any between A, B, C, W and Z allows you to target only A, B and C (Besides the Driver and the Torque Tune Gear). Y is the only target that besides all of the above can also search Z. Don't summon V and X, they aren't Unions and thus don't trigger Hangar's effect.

A to Z buster dragon cannon doesnt have once per turn omni negate ability, you can negate as many times as how many cards you have in your hand by discarding them... Its one of the best ability ever, cuz all other cards have that once per turn for their omni negate effect.

Hi there, I have a question how would you play ABC Pure ??? What is certain is that you play gadgets and play the Infinity Engine or with Galaxy Soldier. Would you play ABC with Dragoon? I'm currently playing my ABC with Dragoon, but of course handtraps shouldn't be missing in my opinion. I play Ash, the Gamma Engine and Impermance

as far as pure abc, i just run a lot of link monsters. Underworld goddess is an insanely good card if you can get out your abc dragon buster and use his effect during your opponents end phase. Now that union carrier is banned i have been testing out stuff like bujinki ahashima in its place to xyz summon gear gigant, or platinum gadget to search another piece. ive also been running 2 copies of frontline base as you can use it as a very good extender.

I have written this reply to a few different comments on here, but it looks like from what ive seen and also tested myself most are using bujinki ahashima. requires 2 monsters with the same level and when its summoned you can xyz summon, i usually target gigant X using a monster from your grave and your hand. Only problem I run into is having enough monsters to pull this off. Mostly ive been going into gigant X or platinum gadget. I have also added 2 copies of union scramble and frontline base (I am running pure ABC but i would like to add in the a - z dragon as well) as a way to extend plays for myself. If i was running the x,y, and z pieces I feel like ahashima would be a much better card as id have a higher probability of drawing a lvl 4 monster. hopefully you found this helpful.

Techincally yes but i will say even pure ABC is a lot harder to run without it. Ive tested bujinki ahashima, it lets you xyz summon using a monster from your grave and one from your hand. I use it to get out gear gigant. The only problem is that i usually wind up with not enough monsters in my hand to use it properly or stuff gets negated that ends me. Mostly ive been going into either platinum gadget or gear gigant if i need to get my pieces of the board. There is also clara and rushka, which only requires 1 normal summoned monster, but is a link that can only be used during main phase 2 so you would have to combo out at the end of the turn. Not the best but there are ways to make union monsters strong, just not as strong as they were.

The newly released Therions help ABC being a lot more consistent, and consequently this deck too, specifically Regulus and Discolosseum. However, Regulus is pretty expensive being only a Secret Rare and a Starlight Rare. I'd also suggest to run at least a single Torque Tune Gear to enable Synchro and Halqifibrax plays.

Both are garnets, have no support whatsoever and VWXYZ is literally a worse ABC. It's even worse than XYZ. Not even XYZ Combine, a card made to support the old part of the A-to-Z archetype even mentions them. V and W should have never been printed and neither VW nor VWXYZ should have been. Absolute garbage cards that aren't even worth summoning. That's of course KONAMI retrains them but I doubt that will ever happen.
