After careful review of 2:30, it looks like spell shielded the initial damage of the Gnar ult but much like Yone Q, the actual CC still happened. Classic riot games. The same happens when Rell W's but is blocked by Poppy W. The dash will be stopped and the indicators won't happen, but everyone still gets knocked up

The e damage spreads on the ground and is delayed because he isnt next to him so it hit as he spell shielded (use your eyes )

I just dont really like the "I hit 225 stack so no kill for anybody" thing on Smolder. Once he touches enemy with 1 damage and you kill it, he gets the kill. Yeah game-winning-wise its better for him to take the kills i know but not everybody plays the game to climb to challenger.
