Full plate battlemage is definitely a thing, as is light armoured berserker... Sort of, when you consider that "light armour" is actually unarmoured, and "medium armour" is actually light armour.

1:23:43 The problem with *MOST* American bread is not that it contains sugar, its the amount of it. So it can't be declared bread.
@justbackgroundvods2 ай бұрын
I think that was just Subway's bread based on the Irish government's criteria, not most American bread. I wouldn't say Subway is indicative of American bread as a whole. It's fast food.
@Dovar692 ай бұрын
@@justbackgroundvods from what I can remember looking at grams of sugar of American vs European bread, European bread has around half the amount of sugar, both is not a lot in theory(3 grams of sugar vs 1.2 or something) but it does make a noticeable difference in taste. I am probably a bread snob as even the "good" supermarket bread here in germany tastes bad in my opinion, I always go to the local bakery to get bread and most of the bread they sell is without any added sugar.

A lot of mass-produced bread in the USA uses fructose (corn syrup), which has a lot of sugar per unit mass vs cane sugar. The need to balance the emulsification process with all the enrichment/additives they put into the bread is what necessitates the amount; otherwise, it supposedly fouls the dough. (that part is second hand information from someone I know who works for General Mills; take it with a grain of salt) Most home-made bread recipes, by comparison, call for substantially less sugar, and EU food regulations stick more closely to that sort of processing standard than the "anything goes" the U.S. has. If you make your own bread, chances are very high you're only putting in about 1 gram of sugar per two 10 inch loaves; just enough to feed dry-active yeast. ("quick dough") Funnily enough, if you used wet yeast cultures (like how my late grandmother did), you generally need to add more sugar and less salt to offset the acrid flavor live yeast can produce, which will add up to about the same amount as store-bought breads. However, the amount of sugar you, the end-consumer will be eating from such bread will end up around the same as the quick-yeast because "wet" cultured yeast will more readily consumes it for energy to do its thing than dry-active yeast does.

4:43:00 I think the clincher that the PC is the real Nerevarine lies in the Corprus Test. Namely, the player character is the first and ONLY non-Dwemer to contract it and survive the "cure" to become fully immune. Since this was included in the prophecy, it's not unreasonable to assume Azura was being on the level for a change, and not just gaslighting a bunch of wannabes for thousands of years.
@justbackgroundvods2 ай бұрын
I dunno. Azura seems like the type of Prince to not only want to, but also successfully, pull off such a con.
@atmosdwagon46562 ай бұрын
@@justbackgroundvods It certainly fits her modus operandi, no doubt there. But the unworldly, 'divine' nature of Corprus Blight is something that sounds like it would require more than chump luck to overcome. Not even the other recipients of Lorkhan's power could contain it.
@justbackgroundvods2 ай бұрын
@@atmosdwagon4656 But would the Nerevarine have overcome it without Divayth's potion? Maybe the potion would help others as well, but they arrived to the Corprusarium too late or weren't strong enough to survive anyway. By the time the PC gets Corprus, they've already shown they're more capable than the average person. If the Champion of Cyrodiil or Dragonborn contracted corprus, I wonder if they would survive drinking Fyr's potion as well.
@atmosdwagon46562 ай бұрын
@@justbackgroundvods Divayth Fyr was pretty certain the potion would kill the Nerevarine, though...right until it didn't. Given the Telvanni's total lack of ethics in pursuit of their interests, it'd be a moment of astronomical coincidence for the potion to work on that exact person at that exact moment. I think it'd have been very foolish of Azura to include overcoming Corprus in her prophecy, only to leave the whole thing to pure chance, just because so many specific things have to occur in a specific order, that by the time they happen by chaos contrivance, Dagoth Ur would have likely won. The reason I'm so hung up on this Corprus thing is that it's essential to tying the main story together. Without it, there's a gaping plot hole: Why hasn't Vivec already handled this himself? The answer to that: Vivec (and the rest of the Tribunal) is vulnerable to Corprus Blight and cannot risk infection at any cost. (Remember: They built the Ghostgate specifically to contain the Blight) It would explain his deliberate seclusion despite fully knowing the nature of the problem and how to solve it. (using the trappings of his own religion to excuse never leaving the city named after himself) Hence, I think achieving immunity to Corprus is as much a practical necessity to defeating Dagoth Ur as being a highly capable warrior is. In the main story, the player is FORCED to see what Corprus does to those it infects, as both victim and enemy, and I think that was the point. Considering the alternative for a moment: If Corprus isn't the limiter here...what exactly is stopping Vivec from donning Wraithguard and bulldozing his way through Red Mountain to enact his plan directly? I genuinely cannot think of anything else, since he is clearly VERY powerful. Far more than most anyone else in Vvardenfell. This, to me, suggests to me that Vivec believes in Azura's prophecy of Nerevar's reincarnation, knows that he will be immune to Corprus, and that alone makes the Nerevarine an absolute necessity to stopping Dagoth Ur, regardless of his other feelings/baggage. Anyway...This went on too long. Sorry about that. But that's my reasoning.

Regarding armor. I like having more tiers (unarmored, light, medium, heavy, et cetera) and I personally prefer them having good passive effects contrary to many other trees. That said a condensation of the skills into a forked tree like Two Handed or something might be good and might punish mixing and matching less.

Oblivion's is literally luck. You cannot tell if the lil guys there are going slow until it's too late to lock it in. It's pure luck?? am I missing something somehow?
@ravoln24572 ай бұрын
Oblivion's lockpicking is pattern recognition. It's really not that hard. All you have to do is tap the nubs to find when it is the most "sticky" and then count how many you have to repeat to get the same sticky. Repeat for each nub and bam you are in.
