Morro do Pai Inácio Trail - Chapada Diamantina National Park, Brazil
Hi my friends, are you all right? Here we are arriving with another video here on the channel. And once again bringing images of the Pai Inácio Hill. This is the second video with images of this beautiful place. In the previous video we showed the way by car to the parking lot and now we are following the trail to the highest part of the hill. We start by showing a little of the parking lot, where there is a kiosk and a structure that is the place where the access ticket to the trail is acquired.

It's not a difficult trail to make. But it must be done with caution. Even a child can climb, but he will obviously need the help of his parents or someone responsible. The inconvenience for us on this day of trail was the chosen time. A very hot day, and at this time of 2 pm, it doesn't feel very pleasant. That's why this isn't the time most people prefer, and with good reason. On a cloudy day, I believe it doesn't make that much difference, but on a sunny day, the sun is punishing a lot. So, here's the tip: if you intend to do this trail, organize yourself to come at a more appropriate time. Most people who visit Morro do Pai Inácio prefer to do the trail in the late afternoon. It is a time when the temperature is milder and still allows the visitor to enjoy a beautiful moment with the possibility of watching the sunset.
Usually from about 4:00 pm onwards, the flow of people increases a lot. It's always good to be aware of the limited access to the trail. On the date I made the visit, access was until 5 pm. At this time the parking access gate is closed and there is no way to enter. But, I recommend that you inform yourself in advance, because these access rules may be out of date, depending on the time you are watching this video.
The Morro do Pai Inácio trail is one of the many attractions that the Chapada Diamantina National Park has. As we said in the previous video, this is a huge park, with 152 thousand hectares. To give you an idea, we are here in the northern part of the park. Generally, those who come to this region of the park stay in Lençóis or Vale do Capão, which have a good hostel structure and a location relatively close to the attractions of this northern part of the park.
That's why it's important that travelers know in advance which places they want to visit, because depending on the attraction, choosing Lençóis or Vale do Capão may not be ideal.
