Hi Fedor, I’ve been learning for 2.5 years and understood about 20% of the words in the context they were used. I’m 59 and a slow learner but love the variety of tools used in learning as an adult unlike as a young person. I dip into many different presentations interspersed with learning about the culture, the regions and the politics both new and old. Thank you for your work.

Text from the podcast:

Thank you for this video! One thing I would like to see is when you are breaking down the sentences if you could put some of the words on the screen(for example, showing the feminine endings for the verbs--but I do appreciate the breakdown of the sentences!). I'm not sure if you have ever heard of Comprehensible Input, but it is basically learning a language through listening to/reading messages that we understand and comprehend! So having texts like this and others will be a great tool in helping learners acquire language naturally(I myself am a Spanish teacher/tutor). Great job Fedor, thanks for all your hard work in bringing the Russian language to us, keep it up!

Ok, let's try this. I heard the text twice and choose not to read it. The first run I think I understood around 20-30%, de second run was a bit better, maybe 55%? So, no clue what you began saying, but something at 10am. You work from home, your work is online, and working from home is very comfortable. You have a coffee machine in your office, you were drinking that and began reading a book, the coffee was very delicious. Then you began work. I missed a whole bunch of stuff. You and your friend Alexander do Thai Boxing, something about health or being healthy and towards the end something about parts (часта?) Then you described the weather, I think I understood "not too much rain", or "not raining too hard". You walked home and bought groceries for your home. Alright, now let's humble me down by watching the rest of the video 😅
