5ive, Blue, and 911 are some other British boy bands in the same vein as A1. Haven't heard this song in so long, probably because I don't really listen to this kind of music that much, but your reactions to them being back some good, and not so good memories (that was being a teenager/20 something back then I guess though). When I saw A1 I actually thought it was a different brand, who maybe you could do a one off reaction to, with a song I love - Ultra - Rescue Me. I don't remember them having many hits, but it's a song I think you'd love. I also this at some stage you are going to get to Busted and McFly (don't remember you reacting to them, but maybe I'm wrong). As for this song it definitely has early Westlife vibes.

Yes! A1, another nostalgic boyband I love. They have more popular/great songs: Same Old Brand New You, Like A Rose, One More Try, No More, Caught In The Middle, Ready or Not (just to name a few. these are ones that have recognizable music videos). Ahh, A1. They really were at the tail-end of the 90s boyband boom. Bless ‘em, but it had turned into a safe formula by then - the haircuts, the fashion, the vocal styling. Their biggest hit was a cover of A-ha’s Take on Me. They played at my university summer ball in 2000. A friend was working the outside bar - a lad came up asking for a couple of pints of water, and when she said, ‘sorry, the tap here is hot water just for washing glasses we don’t have cold drinking water’, he said, ‘oh that’s ok, I don’t want to *drink* it, I’m gonna throw it at A1!’. To which she replied, ‘oh, in that case, sure…..’ 😂 I am sure the boys have an army of fans who will downvote me now.
