In diesem Video zeige ich den Arbeitsprozess zur Entstehung einer abstrakten Holzskulptur "LadyBird", hergestellt aus Apfelbaum. Dieses Holz ist sehr hart, deshalb auch nicht so leicht zu bearbeiten. Der langwierige Prozess des Schleifens ist in diesem Video extrem verkürzt dargestellt, da dies nicht mehr so interessant anzusehen ist. Nach dem Trocknen des ersten Auftrages, wird die Skulptur erneut mit noch feinerem Schmirgelpapier geschliffen und nochmals geölt. Dies wird dann mehrfach wiederholt bis eine schöne glatte Oberfläche entsteht. Zahlreiche Skulpturen können in weiteren Videos auf meinem Kanal und auf meiner Homepage betrachtet werden.
