The A14 is one of the UK's busiest non-motorway roads. It runs as a high-standard dual carriageway for 137 miles/220 km from the M1 & M6 junction at Catthorpe to the Port of Felixstowe, the UK's busiest container port. Linking several major roads along the way and carrying port traffic, the A14 has a very high percentage of HGVs.
This video shows a westbound journey along the A14, running from junction 42 for the A1302 and B1106 at Westley, just west of Bury St Edmund's, to junction 39 for the B1506 at Kentford, on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border.
