Then bought back in by Mann's in 1985, resprayed class green and sold to Oliver walston for doing trial plots used for only one year the barn stored untill it was purchased by somebody from Shrewsbury couple of years ago

Bought a 1971 narrow DB780 for £398 in 1984. Pulled like a train. Got a Foreloader for it at a farm sale for £110 a few years later. Only real job I had to do was a new clutch - and local ag college did that for a consideration. Sold it a couple of years ago for nearly £3k and the guy who bought it has done a fantastic renovation - looks mint. Only thing I don't miss is getting on and off it. Down here in Kent used DB were always cheap as everyone wanted Red or Blue Tractors.
