I feel inspired. As Nid jumped from the helicopter his steely gaze surveyed the landscape for danger. If war was Hell then Nid was the devil who would tame it. Looking down he saw the Russian ICBM launching. With a nimble twist Nid turned and grabbed the passing rocket. Riding the nuke along its deadly trajectory Nid fearlessly tore the warhead’s paneling free, but as he reached into his pocket he realized that he had left his lucky knife at base. Unable to disarm the bomb Nid, with one mighty punch, exploded the missile in orbit. Riding the blast-wave Nid plummeted through the atmosphere back toward the battlefield. Again on high Nid saw a new danger threatening his bothers and sisters-in-arms. A Tiger tank with a platoon of Spetsnaz in tow, but what they didn’t know was that the were already dead. With the type of deadly accuracy that would make Vasily Zaytsev stand up in his grave and sing God Bless America the Spetsnaz fell under Nid’s fire. Throwing away his empty rifle Nid ripped two grenades from his chest and with the pins in his teeth he dove into the barrel of the Tiger. Now you might ask yourself, “How is that even possible?”, but reason, physics these don’t mean a damn thing to Nid. Sliding down the barrel Nid kicked the shell out of the breach and sent his deadly presents after it. With a resounding boom the tank exploded rocketing Nid back out the barrel from whence he came. When next Nid looked down he realized he was no longer over the battlefield but instead above the seat of Russian power. Taking careful aim he crashed through a window and with both feet crushed Putin into paste. The force of the event was so great that a ripple traveled through time and space killing all who held and would hold the office of President of Russia. Sadly, in the end, however, this was all to much for Nid as he too died that day. Even though he was in the center of the Russian government an American flag fell draping his corpse and a distant trumpet began to play Taps. Not wanting the news of this great soldier to get out the officials had Nid’s body dropped back onto the battlefield and as a final insult they replaced his parachute, which he had not needed in all the excitement, with a bag fully of cheap Russian silverware.
