A2A Aerostar 600 takeoff / ground roll distance test

We recently measured the A2A Aerostar's takeoff performance, and decided to put it to video. The Aerostar is a "by the numbers" aircraft and you need to verify that it is performing as expected. This is one of these tests.

Great aircraft! Thank goodness it's not another Seminole or King Air for FSX. The Aerostar 600 would be a great aircraft in the GA line-up you already have with the 172, 182, 180 and 250. Flight simulation is all about flying and A2A nails it every time. As a real world pilot and user of FS back to the Sublogic days I would have to say A2A is the single most important contributors to FS when it comes to aircraft. One thing for sure we can count on it not being another half baked aircraft that likes good and that all folks.

Is that a PA-60-601P or without pressurization?

According to the registration its a straight 600. No pressurization. However, I do hope that when they do model it for FSX, that they include the pressurized model.

Only plane they need to make is the Howard 250 Tr-gear. Who else has round motor expertise like A2A in that.

Remember when that and all other performance benchmarks were set they were using a test pilot, new aircraft & engines. Not your average flying hack...
