I like how the show doesn't air the contestants that aren't really able to meet the standards, and does not take advantage of kids who are not as good as the others just for clicks, but instead encourage those who do make some mistakes. Kaylee has potential, especially because even if she does not make it to the final group, she can become a trainee, knowing she can speak both korean and english, she could be part of the next group in jyp like in 5 years. Is not that easy she doesn't live in korea where she can audition for a group when shes older. I don't think she'll be able to debut because of that. one thing i noticed is that JYP’s artists rarely get plastic surgery done on them, which i really appreciate. look at itzy, all 5 of the girls have all natural faces, and even though yeji has single eyelids which doesn’t fit the Korean beauty standard (i think she looks gorgeous with monolids though) she still didn’t get the surgery despite it being a simple and common surgery. that’s something i appreciate a lot, because i know other companies will force/advise their idols to get surgery if their faces don’t meet the Korean beauty standards (especially when it comes to nose jobs and eye-enlarging/double eyelid surgeries). but JYP seems to want the girls to be confident in their natural looks instead, which is really great and refreshing to see.

Not only that, Savannah is beautiful. Look not much make up or no make up, her face is small and oval shape. This face shape is ideal for make up and hairstyling. If she will not make it here, I think this girl can audition to hollywood specially if she strive her best in dancing and singing, she has the looks. Looks like a living morena barbie doll ❤. Interms of visual I bet on Savannah and KG. They have different beauty but both can be visual.

Somi was a star and beloved on sixteen along with Chaereyoung(?) From Itzy but neither debuted probably bc of age and how young they were. That's one thing I was thinking, Kaylee is a talented genius but she's really really young to be debuting anytime soon and the concepts they're gonna do is probably more mature like what Itzy and Blackpink debuted with, considering everything in west entertainment is more mature, rather than innocent concepts aimed at young fans like NCT dream the first few years they existed like with Chewing Gum. Considering she's actually Korean and speaks Korean he just might keep her for future JYP Korean kpop projects and upcoming groups (to debuted in Korea) rather this joint project to debut in America

Well she's teaching kpop dance routines specifically, right? So dancing professional a d teaching that is different from teaching kpop chores. There's already many groups of kpop fans who've formed dance cover teams but you can see the amateur and lack of professional education in their routines. Usually.pre kpop having a dance studio meant you were the choreographer and you taught original routines you made yourself which takes fat more skill and talent, plus kpop style of dancing can be easier to learn it's a few steps above western pop dancing but it doesn't compare to the dancing that boy groups do or people in the HipHop community.

I like all contestant's character so far. Now I understand the reason why they are very strict on choosing the contestant that pass the audition. I heard someone complaining about it, and thinking the result of audition is not fair enough. But after seeing eps 1 and this eps, I could see that they really only choose best of the best they could choose. From a former finalist of The Voice, someone who learn ballet for such a long time, someone who dedicated to K-pop, dancing and performer, someone who already release song also wrote it herself, and finally a 'CEO' of Kpop dance academy. All of them show their great dedication even in such young age. And what I like from JY. Park is, he really understand the contestant character. He gave critics bcoz he know that contestant could be better. He know what things that the contestant should work to make it better.

Savanna can be their MAIN RAPPER, MAIN DANCER, VOCALIST. This girl would go far if she is trained well. Look at her pre debut dance and the teaser when she danced to O.O

And she has a nice visual too. Having an oval shaped face is her advantage in any camera angles. She looks pretty in any angles without or not much make up. Thats what impressed me. 👏 If she won't make it here, I'm sure she can pursue to be famous mv artist like mariah, alicia keys, rihanna and ciara.

What I love about this particular survival show so far is that it’s not about humiliating the contestants that don’t make it or trying to make it entertaining by showing their faults. Rather it’s about showing the girls who have potential and what JYP sees in them!

Can't wait for the next episode tho. It's nice to see an audition that doesn't say "no" to someone who sings with wrong technique or dances too stiff - also probably due to being nervous. They still get chosen because JYP be like: Yeah you have potential talent and we can work with you

@retricallltann6243 When it's reaches the end JYP going to go hard . 1) depends on age the older his standards are higher 2) when it is close to debut timing he expects a lot 3) when your a visual he only expects a passing rate ( there's a few there ) but only 1 visual place in a group 4) if it's a JYPe trainee you have the hardest scores to pass ( I saw 1 in the end she's good in dancing )

@@evanyong5871 obviously JYP expects way more when that group have to debut. But I am just refering to the audition. In Germany there are like 3 audition shows I know and they all are shit compared to JYP. That's why I like that he always says he doesn't look for professionals but for potential talent. He just want the girls to have fun and to enjoy their audition. I also bet that he will go harder from episode to episode but still in a positive way

Kaylee is going real far in this competition. She's the youngest, but the confidence, charm, and potential is really up there. She's only danced for a week, but it seems like she was having the most fun compared to the other contestants who had much more experience.

Here are my thoughts… I wish JYP was as nice as he is in this show on SIXTEEN….those girls didn’t deserve those harsh words at times. the contestant i’m rooting for is Lexus Vang🖤 she can dance and sing really well already just imagine how untouchable she’ll be with training💕💗 I hope to see her in a big group some day.

well I feel like JYP was nice enough on Sixteen, he probably more strict towards Sixteen contestants because all of them was trainee and have been trained at JYP for quite a long time, they already pass JYPE audition meanwhile A2K and Nizi Project contestants is newly auditioned also, in Sixteen JYP wasn't the only judge and I feel like the others judge is the one who make it so harsh and JYP is in the position that he need to respect their position like Jihyo photoshoot case 😢 JYP choose her as the best one but other judges strongly disagree because they think that Jihyo "too fat", he tried to defend his opinion but since he was the only one who think that way so Jihyo ended up not get chosen and the other judge even scolded her and told her to lose more weight
