I always look for channels that react to this show, but this is without a doubt my favorite channel. I believe that a reaction requires an analysis and comments about it, and that is what you do. It is entertaining to watch, and "discuss", other channels just sit in front of the screen and make a monotonous reaction, without commenting. so I really appreciate that :D I'll be here in the other chapters

Thanks for sharing your technical breakdowns and demonstrations! Melissa’s performance is gonna go down as an all-time legendary, star-making NiziPro audition. Watching the reaction gallery of the girls and JYP, it’s so funny that the same amazing moments generated BOTH stank faces and sublime melting. Kendall’s selection of Whitney was a big miss for me for compatibility. I see the delivery/performance aspect,but I couldn’t agree with JYP that the “personality” overcame the shortcomings enough to earn a gem. Kaylee is always surprising me with her glimmers of natural ability and instinct. So much potential there ready to be extracted if she’s really as eager a student as she seems to present herself as. For me, she really embodies the phrase “diamond in the rough,” with emphasis that with dedicated work to smooth out the rough edges, a shining gem is clearly waiting to be released.

I'd really love for you to react to another JYPE survival show that's also currently airing which is NIZI PROJECT SEASON 2. It's basically the same theme as A2K but to create a global boy group based in Japan instead. Even so it feels so different idk is it the production? or is it the culture? but I'm enjoying it a lot. The scale is bigger so the duration is longer, it's only been 3 episodes in but we're already at the boot camp. The participants seems well prepared with impressive talents from different background & have attractive personalities too, it's gonna get more competitive. They're doing Stray Kids song's a lot too so I think you'll like it. :3

I just think it’s kinda crazy how JYP obviously has favorites and he’s so chill with certain people, even if they aren’t very good, but then other people who make small mistakes, he tears into them or comments on something that doesn’t appear to be the main issue. I just think it’s wild to watch this show after watching the Itzy documentary for example. If he’s gonna be harsh why is he not like that across the board? Is it only after he has them as trainees/as employees under him that he stops pretending to be nice? I know I’m a bit biased here but it irks me a bit. Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction as always, and agreed with your comments! The song choices for some of the contestants so far had me shocked… like even I wouldn’t feel comfortable singing Whitney Houston for an audition and I’ve been singing/performing/auditioning for a long time. Kaylee just really doesn’t need to be in this environment, she’s so young and it’s so much pressure. I know that’s how the industry tends to work, but it hurt to see her breakdown like that. As for Kendall, I’m confused about the “belting practice”, because there really was no belting. The “emotion” did not outshine how weak the performance was, in my opinion. Melissa was just wonderful, I was in awe of her performance. She has great musicality, so much potential.

for itzy - JYP is a producer.. producing music is very stressful for both parties (producer and singer) for a2k - JYP is a businessman.. kaylee performance is really bad (her voice is good) but her stage presence is bad.. JYP likes expressing emotion that can connect to the audience or buyers.. I love kaylee because she slightly looks like a 12 yrs old Kyujin of NMIXX.. LEXUS, CAMILA, KAYLEE AND GINA.. I love them 4

I think JYP’s commentary might be misunderstood by you sometimes because of vocabulary choices that he might interpret differently from you. I say this because my sis-in-law’s native language isn’t English so she also uses some vocabulary words that she interpreted a little different from what it would typically be used for. My family members would get offended or led to misunderstand her and I had approach her respectfully about it to finally understand her. We are more aware and take that perspective to consideration now.

I do think he’s judging them on a curve a bit. Like KG was the worst dancer, but that’s not her thing and she improved so she got a stone. Kendall (and probably Christina, Savannah and Lexus) aren’t singers, so while they won’t be as good at singing, I don’t think he’s looking for them to be great, just workable. I think Kendall’s voice would do well in a group, KG and Gina will hide some others vocal issues and let them sit in their comfort range.

네, 영어 쓸게요 ☺️ That’s a very interesting question! I haven’t studied the difference in voices from other countries. So, I won’t claim to be a professional about this but I’ll give my opinion. I think a lot of things can contribute to the difference in the voice. I think you’re right! Genetics do play a big part, as well as how you grow up using your voice. For example, English and Korean both have sounds that we don’t use in the other language. That can change the tone and how you place vowels where you sing. Also, English doesn’t have 받침 which also changes how you sing. There are also very different vocal styles. For example, America doesn’t have trot. So I think there’s a lot of things that make a difference in sound and vocal development.

In my personal experience, real experts are typically very humble because they know that they are not perfect and have their own limitation. I respect your career as a opera musician / teacher, but at the same time I have a big concern for your attitude as an "EXPERT". It's like ...Hey I am an American chef. I know food a lot. Now I am going to review and judge Korean food. Please close your mouth while I review them because I am a food expert and know about food ..way better than you guys. Ballet and hiphop dance is just dance (moving body with music), but I don't think ballet dancer has deeper understaning for hiphop dance (same for opposite). It's just moving body technically but sometimes style defines everything. It might be quite interesting that you share your video clip to cover some kpop songs (English lyrics ok if you prefer). I want to share your vocal cover to some of kpop vocal youtubers and want to get their opinion how much understanding you have about pop / kpop vocal style as an opera musician.

She literally said she might get things wrong regarding pop style singing and would moreso be looking at the basics of singing. Try opening your ears before writing hate, lol
