Have you used foam covering which forms light insulation for pipes carrying solar water?? This will prevent the initial cold water that comes when you turn solar water tap... I think if I'm right it's 22/meter..

Hi, we have not used that. As you said I guess about 4 to 6 liter we get cold water and then hot water comes.

No. that point is for the FIRST time only. When we install, generally we install in day time to get better visibility. But due to this tubes get hot as they exposed to sunlight once they taken out of box. And obvisiously tubes & tank is empty during installation, so tube will get extreme hot. Suppose if you turn on cold water imm. after installation, this cold water will enter in extreme hot (empty) tube & tubes may get crack. So better is after complete installation, leave it for whole night so tubes will cool down due to absence of sunlight & then you can turn on cold water. In regular uses, you must keep cold water inlet continuous ON (if fact if you turn off cold water inlet, you won't get hot water. Because when 'New' cold water enters through inlet then only 'Existing' hot water comes out through outlet). Now there is no need to worry as tubes are already filled with water, so it will not become extreme hot like empty tube. So it will not crack
