A320 Home Cockpit | Amsterdam to Gatwick | VatSim | Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

Hi all,
Welcome to another video.
In this one we will be flying the A320 Neo from Amsterdam Schiphol EHAM to London Gatwick EGKK. This is flown using real weather and real time, online with the VatSim network.
VatSim is something I haven’t done much of in the past couple of years. I wanted to try it out properly again in the sim, this is the second flight completed in the sim-pit with VatSim ATC.
I hope you enjoy it, I have tried my best to edit and keep it fun, a lot of setup has been skipped in the video, to keep the length down. Perhaps one day I will livestream and then we can go through the full setup too?
I also need to apologise that I didn’t get the VatSim audio from Gatwick playing through the speakers for you all to hear. As such you will hear my replies but not the controller or other aircraft - sorry! This issue has now been fixed ready for the next video!

This is incredible!! Such an amazing effort to build something so realistic 👌🏽 I also love how you used the proper stands that we use in AMS 😂 Rest assured if you ever find yourself single pilot, you’re the man for the job 😂😂 All you’re missing is a 6 Axis motion hydraulic rig 🔥🔥

@@Xein42 Thanks Zein, 6 axis would be pretty sweet. Not sure my woodworking skills would hold up to motion though and all the joints would come crumbling down 😂

Hey! Great sim :-) I am currently building mine, but when I popout panels to other screens, I loose quite alot of FPS.. Are you using any sort of frame generation mod, or how are you getting your game so smooth with the popouts? Thanks so much

@@DenverCenterSim hi thank you for the comment. I use Pop Out Panel Manager to get the screens in the right place and like you I also get a big FPS hit. I have set basically minimal settings and use an AutoFPS tool that affects the LOD based on Altitude, on top of that I have DX12 running which helps a bit and then have tweaked the Nvidia control panel settings, but also run Lossless Scaling. Lossless Scaling makes the biggest difference. I go from between 15 to 20fps on the ground to as high as 60 to 80 with it. It makes a huge difference. I hope this helps. I run off an old i7-6700k and GTX1080 8GB

@@My320Sim I also used lossless scaling, but it was quite unreliable, and caused many CTDs! I am now using the insim frame gen, with AutoFPS 🙂
