The transmission is stuck in fail safe, you need to have a qualified shop take a look at it, www.atra.com/ShopFinder

Probably not going to get an answer but I'll ask anyways. if I take out a solenoid, put the transmission back together, put oil in it, what would happen? I ask this because I feel there is something blocking the hydraulic line in charge of the under drive clutch. Thus if I take out that solenoid to flush it out for like 20 seconds, what would happen?

Vscar, it depends on the solenoid. If the solenoid you pull out has no hydraulic pressure going to it, nothing will happen, if it does you'll have a massive leak, no movement, slipping, and inoperative transmission. you can air check the clutch through the case, if it checks out, go through the valve body and make sure the passages are clear. hope this helps, if you are looking for more tech help please contact our office at 805-604-2000 or membership@atra.com

@t vehicle hyundai ix 35 gdi type gearbox type A6GF1 gearbox 1 and 2 gears while accelerating the sound of metal milking. Sometimes it is 3rd gear. I changed the clutch and steel kits to a new one. The sound decreased but it did not improve. I did not change the 3-5 reverse and overdrive pistons. Do I need to change it? Would you help me with this topic ?

Hey sir I have a car CRETA HYUNDAI 1.7 CRDI equipped with an automatic gearbox A6MF2 Can I replace it with an automatic A6MF1 gearbox, and what is the difference between them?
@atra-automatictransmission130010 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, NO, they have different ratios, therefore different TCM, etc... the ASMf1 is set behind the 2.0 and 1.6L engines also. Sorry :)

@@atra-automatictransmission1300 thank's sir, If I empty the gearbox A6MF2 and put all its components in the gearbox A6MF1, will this work?

@@atra-automatictransmission1300 Would it work if one replaces a 2012 Kia Sportage 2.4L A6MF1 box to a A6MF2 box (from a 2014 Kia Sportage 2.4L) with the TCM? I see at the 5:43 point in this video the gear ratios are the same (close).

Getting rid of the oil dipstick, yeah, definitely NOT an improvement. Filling through the "fill up port" is a pain in the A$$.

Hi, I have an A6LF1 transmission that broke down. I purchase all the clutches and steel plate plus seals. It's a 2015 Santafe. After starting, I have a hard engagement in drive and reverse. I changed the torque converter and it persists. I found 2 solenoids that were faulty. Can I get the whole solenoid set? Could these caused the hard engagement.?
