Yokohama2000 I can't imagine image quality better than this one. Sometimes, when new feature appears, it disapointed lot's of prosumers. Like GH3 with the gh2, like Canon EOS 5D II with the 5DIII. Let's go and let Sony imagines how a better image quality could be.

Alexander Hartdegen you absolutly right . I just bought a7 mark 2 and the image quality not so clear ,, in build body stabilizer doesn't work that well as i thought .. Let's be suprised what Sony do next ..

Hi, Allan ..i end up the video because not much to see after that station..The land is flat ,constructions,cranes. a few new hotels will grow up there before Tokyo 2020 i believe .. :-) Life battery in video mode is 45min ( one shot can record 30min than camera just shut down ) Timelapse mode 2-4 hours, it depends on shutter speed ..Recharge takes 2 hours ..One day trip 3 batteries works. ..next time i take photo of the set up .. :-) Thanks for your comment / have good day ...

It's difficult to recommending...I would prefer A7S over the GH4 and new models of Canon/Nikon .. So far i use it for video I didn't take any still images with the camera . Just for the lowlights situations and playmemories apps , it's nice to have it .. :-)

Sorry , i don't have any feedback for a7r + 15 mm Carl Zeiss .. 12mp sensor on a7s would performed a little bit different in lowlight, about the vignetting i don't recommend using Metabone Speedbooster on fullframe even the body is in APS-C mode .

Very nice indeed. Footage is very stabilized, not shake at all. Did you use a hanheld rig or tripod?

i used tripod in angle to touch the lens of corner window / jacket around the lens for shake and reflections . Train going smooth in 60fps / NO wrap stabilizer in post ..Thanks for positive comment ..
