Wait but I thought Ocean Forest had enough residual food to last throughout the whole vegetative period? And mixed as directed that sauce burns my plants every time. Please show us you guys using that on a plant and how that plant turned out.

It does, more than enough imo, all you need to add is the microbiology to make the nutrients in the soil available to the plant, if you feed what they suggest to a young plant that is not kept in a perfectly controlled environment, you will burn them up.

This comment is old but rule of thumb for using this. Start with 1/4 of recommended dose and slowly move up if needed. It's always a bad idea to start out with the full dose Incase the soil already has most of the nutrients the plant needs. Really the only time you may want to start out with full dose, and I stress MAY, is if you are using coco coir to grow with no added amendments because there is no nutrients at all in it. And bagged potting soil, always check to see what's in it. Any compost, bat guano, chicken horse or cow manure, etc, will have okay nutrients and if it has a mix of amendments it will be more than enough for the plant for at least 4 weeks. Then you start with 1/4 dose middle of week 4 and go up if needed over time. Typically anything with compost, earthworm castings, bat guano, and chicken manure sometimes chicken meal, is quite nutrient rich and sometimes won't need any added fertilizers as long as you transplant up in a timely manner which is why growing in proper size pots for the current stage of the plant is crucial. Along with water logging the soil of the pot is too big. That in turn causes mold mildew algae and other various things to grow and sometimes it can kill the plant shortly after it begins to grow.

You water your plant with the nutrient solution. Don't over water, don't under water. That's the best answer you will get.

Water until you start to get drainage from the bottom of your pot. Leave the little water left in the saucer as it will eventually be absorbed up into the soil .

How much tiger bloom would I use in my drip irrigation through a fertilizer injector on 235 square feet of garden? My fertilizer injector holds up to 16 fluid ounces. I just want to fertilize through the drip irrigation rather than watering all the plants manually. I can’t find the info anywhere

For everyone wondering, that mixture is for a week and it’s supposed to be fed 2 times a week so I’d think half of that gallon one day and next day water and next day rest if that gallon and if anytime the rest of that week it needs water cause it’s dry then just regular ph water. My guess… lmao

You could look into coast of maine stonington blend. It comes in a soil version and a amendment version. It’s a 1 and done solution for growing plants, specifically weed

To "dechlorinate" the water you just let it sit out for a while. The chlorine is volatile and will evaporate. Fill up your watering can with tap water and just leave it in the sun for a day. If you need it "now" you can boil the water for a few minutes and then cool it.

Sure, just do the conversions and try to be accurate, you are going to be measuring in ml's. In that instance, I would be using weight but you would need to determine the weight for each product as it's not going to be 1 ml/g like H2O.
