D.O's AI is actually pretty good, it's because he and Zac has similar voice/"singing style" which is a perfect decision when choosing songs for AI covers. Meanwhile, Suhyun's AI is totally different (not bad, not great either) because her and Zendaya has different singing styles (Suhyun is more likely to use falsetto and has a very light use of her voice, while Zendaya has a lot of runs when singing and has a deeper voice). But the switch up from the original to cover (D.O and Suhyun) at the bridge is VERY smooth. THANK YOU FOR THIS, CREATOR! Now, I really want them to have an official collaboration 😢

I feel like the part that the AI covered just had no emotion…when D.O and Suhyun sing together you can just hear the emotion in their voices to the point I tear up…And I guess that’s what AI will never be able to get right because computers can’t have emotions lol

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to argue with anyone, this comment just made me think. And I wanted to share my thoughts to educate people who are passionate about AIs and art making (since I'm a professional audio engineer and musician, and super nerd about AIs). AI will (or is already) completely be able to do this at some point. Singing is just a matter of creating beautiful sounds well mixed together, and there is nothing that prevents AI from doing this besides better algorithms and good training. Most AIs that try to copy what we find beautiful about human art fails for very manageable reasons (when they fail, because some AIs are already way better than most humans at doing some type of artistic creations). 1. Learning algorithms are not advanced enough, or not adapted to learn a particular skillset. As most music professionals will get more interested in music and AI in the future, this problem will quickly fall when they hire more and more developers and AI experts to work on this. 2. Training a good AI is very expensive. You need to have a lot of data, and a lot of time and money to run it properly, and make the AI learn. Once you solved those 2 problems, 99,9% of people won't make the difference between an AI and a human singer for a similar type performance.
