AA-12 THE NEW LABS META! - Escape from Tarkov

I love the AA-12, I’ve been asking for one for a while now, but the Saiga-12 is still looking like the best overall pick with just a foregrip and GK-02. Shit, you could get a meta Saiga-12 with about near the same price too. Built one and compared it to a S-12 with about 80k~ worth of attachments and the S-12 way better for what you get with a modded AA, and is legit in the same price range as the AA. It may not be full auto, but it's got better ergo, a higher fire rate of 600 RPM if you're spamming M1, and is more accessible overall. Here are the numbers: Saiga-12 (Bravo-18, M-Claw, PT-74M PT1 /w Buttpad, SI Cobra, Holo, 20 Rounder) Ergo - 37.5 Vert - 155 Horiz - 274 AA-12 Gen. 2 (AA-12 Choke, 417mm Barrel, Holo, 20 Rounder) Ergo - 15 Vert - 168 Horiz - 224 Shame, really, especially the ergo. But hey maybe the AA-12 has hidden recoil stats, who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Note that the saiga overheats, while the aa12 doesnt - you also cant compare different weapon systems off stats because of hidden stats.

@@freddiedavies6415 I’ve acknowledged the existence of the hidden stats, but I’m more speaking on accessibility and ergo more than anything regarding overall function. Everybody knows that 150+ recoil on shotguns doesn’t really mean anything significant, but the ergo penalty on the AA is noticeably abysmal, especially in an era of tarkov so reliant on snappy aiming. Also the Saiga is just insanely cheap for what it’s capable of, and in my experience of using it EXCLUSIVELY for a few wipes, you won’t have the Saiga jam if you’re restrictive on the trigger. Plus most fights aren’t drawn out to that point, and even if they are, usually there are lulls in which it can cool. The AA-12 is still a beast in it’s own regard, especially with the inability to jam, don’t get me wrong. However what I’m saying is that the Saiga-12 is generally still the best shotgun all around for what it offers and can do.

Consistently making 2-3 mil a run in 3-5 mins with a duo. Run to the infected lab, grab a key card, open the door, grap the valuables, then run and grab the 15-20 injectors lieing around.
