So ive been wondering: why dont you put one of the hihats in the middle like danny carey does with his Tool drum set?

I found Mike Mangini before I found Danny Carey, so I started figuring out how to play more stereo based patterns across multiple hihats, like using paradiddles instead of using a single stroke roll, and I just got used to it. Plus now I have the Tollspires and the cowbells over the rack toms, and those I need to be able to hit with both hands, so it makes more sense to have the hihats off to the side.

@benlokutasmusicchannel5616 yeah thats true, i like your collection of cowbells. Ive never really liked cowbells all that much for some reason.

@German_drummer They're a very specific sound, it took me a while to really understand where I can use them. It's hard because they can be overly comedic, but sometimes they work really well as an alternative to the toms.
