A New Pair of Glasses - this series of talks were recorded at the January 1975 Pala Mesa Retreat. This men's retreat had 64 AA men attending. These recording were made by one of these men on a small tape recorder.

Chuck C. Helped save my life! I’m sober 40+ years and when I was 9 months sober and he spent three hours talking with me, another drunk, about the Program of AA. A great man.

Chuck C was my grand sponsor his wife Elsa was my Alanon sponsor today I am 42 yrs sober they became my "grandparents"I had a "great upbringing"

My Al-Anon sponsor gave me a set of the New Pair of Glasses tapes about 30 years ago. I've come back to these talks many times. Probably I always will.
