The reason you couldn't score goals is handicap. Not having the bronze bench makes A LOT of difference. You can easily prove that there is handicap by the goal celebrations. You know that "Twist flip" celebration? Only agile players can do it, meaning that they have a certain value in the Agility stat. My MOTM Son can do it against opponents with high rated teams but when I play a person with a bronze bench, he does the alternative version of the celebration...for players with less agility. It's a Cartwheel Roll. Wich means that he gets an attribute penalty when playing people with low overall. Not to mention the buff on the goalkeeper...

I apologize then. I think they do this to make the game more "newbie-friendly". To give the beginners confidence and make them more prone to stick to the game and maybe put some money on it. "woah! look what I can do with this cheap team! And I just started playing! Imagine what I could do with a mega team! Let me get my credit card and find out"

Since he already qualified for the IWC he should sell both teams and do what hashtag Tass is doing. He's playing with teams based on suggestions. He just used a full arsenal past/present team for the last weekend league. Probably would make the series more fun and Skillz is good enough to do it
