They need to completely revamp the mode. Here’s a thought: 20 games no qualifiers -Win 15 out of 20 to u lock “ranked” In ranked play you have 20 games to climb the leaderboard. The kicker you will be able to set parameters for your matchmaking to either match lesser, equal, or better than you. Win vs a Better ranked more points earned. Lose against better less points lost. Win vs worse minimum points earned, lose and more points lost. This type of system is the only will give the casual players the same experience they are used to but for the 1% of players you would be able to truly show your skill. Clearly the rewards in the ranked would have to be out of this world.
