Dr. Dawn Heiman is an audiologist who simply loves to share what she learns with the goal of helping elevate other audiologists. Thank you for making this video! I found it super insightful and it gave me an Audiologist's perspective on private practice. I'm currently a Communication Sciences and Disorders student getting ready for applying to AuD programs for Fall 2021. As someone with a bilateral Cochlear Implants, my experiences in hearing loss drove me to this profession and I can't wait to get into it and make a difference in people's lives!

Soon I will be applying to start my AuD process.. is it easy to find a job once you get your AuD? My mom is hesitant about me choosing Audiology because she thinks it'll be hard to find a job. Is this true?
