So question for you. How do you offer construction inspection? Don’t you need to be a certified building inspector with the ICC to make code calls ? I’m currently a building inspector so this why I’m asking!
@freeze320072 жыл бұрын
I'm brand new to this. I'm just starting to learn about them marketing side and I'm curious about presenting to realtors, don't they already know this stuff? I'm asking genuinely.
@AActionHomeInspectionHouston2 жыл бұрын
No, a lot of agents have very basic training. Most of it is in paper work. Simple facts like these help smooth the process for their clients.

@@AActionHomeInspectionHouston thank you. Is a session like this something you need to be CE certified to hold?

Can a woman do this job? Also, I noticed that my state doesn’t require a license, but you need to be certified. How do you get hands on training once certified? Also, where do you buy the tools needed to use for inspections?
@AActionHomeInspectionHouston4 жыл бұрын
Hannah Townsley All good questions. Woman have start entering the trade a lot more recently. It is a male dominated industry but it shouldn’t stop you. You are by yourself most of the time. You want to be aware it is hot, you have to crawl in crawl spaces, go deep in to attics, climb steep roofs, and so on. I fail a lot on my channel on showing these things. If you are cool with stuff like that, come on and join us. To get certified there is a few national organizations that is recognized: ASHI, INTERNACHI, and AHIT. Those are good ones to start looking in to. For the tools I have made a list. www.homeinspectionwhisperer.com/copy-of-home-inspection-tool-list Good luck

I'm really eager to get into this in Michigan. I wanted to know how long should I shadow before branching off on my own which is my end goal. And what is the average inspections done a year for a new up and coming home inspector? Love the channel I'm learning so much!! Thank you

Hey Chris, can I open a company in California under you?? Or maybe be part of your business team?? So you can be sort of the Grandfather of this entity?? I am willing to pay, I carry the C10/C61,D34 and the B General Contractor license here in California. Your Home inspection company infrastructure looks great, solid very complete. You should open more companies in every state by training General contractors like me. Thank you Brother.
