Dr Rajkumar played lead role in 205 Kannada movies from 1954-2000. Coming from theatre(Which majorly constituted Indian Mythological dramas) at that point of time. He has played some Iconic roles in 60's - 80's. His movies were remade more than 50 times in 6 other languages. He is a great singer as well sung more than 300 movie and 400 devotional songs has even won National Film award for Best Playback Singer. I recently found out that Disney+Hotstar had some of his epic movies with subtitles like Bhaktha Prahalada (A Hindu mythological story of Lord Narasimha an Avatar of God Vishnu) and Satya Harischandra(A King who always told truth). It would be a great introduction to Hindu mythology as well.

Song refers to sugarcane, sandlewood, lamp etc how even they are crushed, rubbed, burnt they do not come out of its nature and does good to others even when they are literally suffering or going through hardship...
