I've heard this ghazal as rendered by Shri Jagjit Singh, Ustad Ghulam Ali sahib, and now Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo. All of them have their charm, but Gullo sahib's rendition has the most emotion. Marvelous.

gullo da jawab nahi , if any one cmes close to ustad slamatali ..its gulo, and i think he sings ghazals to get some audience .. hes a fantastic classical singer . aaj inka koi jawab nahi hai i like to have his e mail id if possible. we must encourage them to sing more classical music

Please don't count Jagjit Singh with the types Ghulam Ali Sahib in ghazal singing. There is nothing personal, I love his Punjabi songs but he has just f****d the ghazal so much that people there is no difference in Ghazal and a Song.
