India will kick off their crucial home Test season on September 19, aiming to solidify their position in the World Test Championship standings. With 10 Test matches ahead, the Rohit Sharma-led side currently tops the points table.
After a month-long break from international cricket, India will begin their big home Test season, starting September 19. This would be a really crucial phase for India in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle as they would take part in 10 Test matches. The Rohit Sharma-led team is currently at the top of the points table with a healthy percentage of 68.52% of possible points. They remain as one of the top contenders to reach the final at the Lord's Cricket Ground in July next year.
To keep their percentage above 60, having qualified for the WTC 2023 final with 58.8, the Indian team need 63 more points. This could be achieved with five wins and a draw. Meanwhile, six wins would further lift the percentage to 64.03. In order to match their current score i.e. 68.52%, they will need seven wins, which will lift their overall percentage to 69.3. India's best possible finish could be 85.09%.

@@rajeevganeshgarh I'm not against cricket I too as an indian love cricket and support cricket and want my Indian team to do well in cricket but I also love other sports and here in China our hockey team is performing really well they qualified for semis the opponent team whatever their age might be their players might be younger than our indian players but still when they are representing their country they should play well look China playing in China but not performing upto the mark our team defeated them 3-0 in their own backyard even Japan which is a strong team in hockey they also lost to us 1-5 even the strong Korean team we defeated them 3-2 and against Malaysia we defeated them 8-1 and qualified for semis and now on Sunday 15 September at around 1pm IST we are playing against our arch rivals Pakistan that will be interesting match so when our Indian team performing well in hockey 🏑 then why these sports channel like sports Tak and Sports today not doing live shows or live coverage and discussions on Indian hockey team daily only discussing on cricket and cricketers and over hype them one of the reasons why India not performing well in other sports are because of these media who always overhype cricketers and cricket too much if you hype other sports then slowly people in India will come to know what is happening in other sports and start slowly following other sports then naturally people will start getting interest and familiar with other sports keeping the name as sports Tak and Sports today but only do live shows and coverages on cricket, cricketers ofcourse they give breaking news and morning headlines in which they give update about other sports but that's not enough even they have to do live shows and coverages on other sports otherwise change the name from Sports Tak to Cricket Tak and Sports today to Cricket today
