Thank you very much for this interview. My respect for Mushahid Hussain has only grown over time. His stance on the genocide of Palestinians has shown me that he is a courageous man. He is one of the rare individuals with access to Pakistani ruling elite who actually gets the NATO-Russia war. His understanding of the changing power dynamics in the world is also quite accurate. I have one small difference with him, however, about Trump. He has the same misunderstanding about Trump which IK had about Modi. IK used to think that Modi would be friendly toward Pakistan somehow after winning the elections, but that turned out to be completely false. Soft-spoken US presidents like Obama and Biden are like wolves in sheep's clothing for Muslims, while hard-hitting US presidents like Bush and Trump are like wolves in wolf's clothing for Muslims.
