Aakenustunturin kesävaellus 2024 - helposti saavutettava luonnon helmi Lapissa.

Heinäkuu on loistava aika kokea Aakenustunturin maaginen luonto. Lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Levistä sijaitseva tunturi tarjoaa unohtumattomia elämyksiä niin kokeneille vaeltajille kuin luonnosta nauttiville aloittelijoille.
Hyvä paikka aloittaa vaellus on Totovaaran pysäköintipaikalta, jossa on informatiiviset opastuskyltit. Matkaa esimerkiksi suositulle Vasalaelle on noin neljä kilometriä. Reitti kulkee vaihtelevan maaston läpi, tarjoten upeita näkymiä tunturien väliin. Vaikka reitti ei ole täysin esteetön, se on hyvin kuljettavissa ja sopii useimmille kuntoilijoille.
Huipulla palkintona odottavat henkeäsalpaavat näkymät. Aakenustunturi on osa Pallas-Yllästunturin kansallispuistoa, ja sen maisemat kuuluvat Suomen kauneimpiin. Muista ottaa juotavaa mukaan riittävästi!

July is a fantastic time to experience the magical nature of Aakenustunturi. Located a short drive from Levi, this fell offers unforgettable experiences for both seasoned hikers and nature lovers.
Start your hike from the Totovaara parking area, where informative signs await you. The distance to the popular Vasalaki peak, for example, is about four kilometers. The trail winds through varying terrain, offering stunning views between the fells. Although the trail is not completely barrier-free, it is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels.
At the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views. Aakenustunturi is part of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, and its landscapes are among the most beautiful in Finland. Enjoy a snack to top off your peak experience and admire the diversity of nature. And remember to drinki! The route will be sweat but nice! :)
