If it as much as movies or games in terms of production it would have surpassed black rock's asset under management every year. Every year Only 300 to 400 animes are only released. Total no of movies released every year is 2000 to 3000. Every year 10000 to 12000 games are released. Imagine if the production was on the level of games, the revenue of anime would be 900 billion dollar every year. Also now days manga and anime has been surpassing Hollywood movies. Like the demon slayer movie in 2020. Also there were articles that said demon slayer manga has single handedly outsold entire western comic industry.
