This song will forever be a banger despite who else was involved with it. There's some good songs on Aaliyah's first album but I'll always prefer the music she made with Timbaland and Missy Elliott. They gave her an amazing new sound that was groundbreaking.

Yup she was exactly 15 years old,she started recording at just 12 years old with her uncle, she was signed a recording contract at 12 years old so this baby was singing along time & it was something she just loved doing and sadly she died doing what she loved and that’s her music.

I'm glad you mentioned R.Kelly cuz I've been hesitant for a while to request some songs cuz I understand music-wise he's a genius I love his music but his personal life of course I don't agree with I separate the music from the personal life so I was hesitant about requesting his song to you cuz some people just cut him off cold turkey but for some it's still hard to listen to his music so I didn't know where you stand about it but Leah got another track called back back forth and forth she was 15 at the time 2 this is what put me onto her I used to get down and jam to her music almost got misty-eyed😢

I like the 1976 Isley Brothers version of this song better than this version . I usually give more credit to the original versions of songs and movies. I think Aaliyah had a version more similar to the Isley's version.

Yeah that fool is still a music genius he finally paying and it’s not enough but he still fell. He wrote and produced all of Aaliyah first album except this song which is a Isley Brothers remake. R. Kelly been molested as well so this demon in him overshadowed his greatness about who he personal is. He needed help and he been molested more than once so the thought it was what it should do to groom him.

I was a few years older than she was when she was really popular. I liked her music but was never attracted to her. She had a beautiful face with a body of a 10 year old. That always turned me off. It came across at the time like a girl trying to be older than she was. Now that I think about it, probably forced on her by the label. And guess that’s what R Kelly was into 🤮
