I was visiting with a friend who was doing my hair. My friend stopped in, mid breeding of my hair, turned off the TV. So we could listen and in disbelief. Then we went over to the radios. She turn on the radio. And the same news was heard on the radio, and we both were in shock. And I. Couldn’t believe it!!!, No, not Aaliyah, she can’t be gone, I just could not believe it. Such a beautiful angel. And such a beautiful heart. Taken from us way too soon, at the age of 22. She has so much more to offer and give to us. Also, sidenote. The Isley brothers with someone who she really liked and admired. Since that’s probably why she performed and did the song. Well. She made it her own and she made it so beautiful. Now. I love the name Aaliyah. I thought that was the most prettiest name I have ever heard. I vowed that if ever, I had any children of my own. And I had a little girl. I would indeed. Name her Aaliyah. Well. In 2016. I gave birth to a beautiful little girl. Weighing 6 lbs. 1 ounce. And her name is shaleah. She is my beautiful little girl. My angel. I even show her videos and pictures of Aaliyah.
