Missy Elliott did a beautiful job on the songwriting, with Timbaland on the timeless beat. Had no idea this was originally recorded in 1996 and finally released in 2001 on Babygirl's Red Album. Goes to show not only were Timbaland's magical beats & Aaliyah's angelic voice timeless, but how the trio's chemistry never faded away within that 5-year interval nor so in current time; always strengthening in memories & hearts of fans. Missy + Timbaland + Aaliyah = Holy Trinity of R&B/Hip-Hop. May God be with the Haughton family and close loving friends.

The song was re-recorded in 2000/2001 because Aaliyah’s voice had matured in those 5 years. But yes, it was originally done in 1996, just barely missing an inclusion on the One in a Million album.

My dear babygirl Aaliyah just amazed me everytime. She had potential class purity in her soul she was so sweet super talented funny a beautiful person and was humble. She had everything a man could want in a woman. She defined true beauty. She had mad skills. Unique qualities that haven't been matched till this day. Your music still lives on babygirl. Your are truly n dearly missed. You were an angel that God sent to this earth to bless us touch us inspire us. N help us in every way. I am so grateful to you for making history. Your music is a work of art. Every song you sang had a positive impact and change in my life. You just filled my life with hope strength 😄😍💕😄😍💕 n peace ✌✌. I think about you everyday n miss you so deeply. May The Lord bless your soul n may you keep resting peacefully in heaven. I love our my sweet dear lovely angel Aaliyah.
