Man Aaliyah not a day goes by I don’t miss you and your face . So much changed in the music industry since your passing but hey that’s apart of life. I would say thank you for so many things and ramble on but no time will permit me for that so I’ll continue to say this from the beginning to now I knew and I still remember that you was the baddest sweetest most talented young star in my eyes and your star was forever shining especially in 2001. I mean. ACTUALLY she was born in Brooklyn. WE claim her lol. But I loved your message.... so powerfully full of love. She touched my life too. Not gonna get that deep, I was about to & already tearing up. All I can say is. She was EVERYTHING to me at one point, the only friend I had. What Beautiful woman Aaliyah was . She been in the music industry for 7 years before her tragic death. Who was to blame ? If she had a 2nd chance what could she have done differently ? It plays out in my head every time. Was it Virgin Records? Mariah, Timbaland and even Janet left the label ? I wish I had answers but at this time I dont.
