Glad you finally got to check them out! I thought you'd get a kick out of them! Fun group of very talented people making cool music. While I am not personally the biggest fan of the popularly requested song, 'Tonight We Ride,' and would suggest a few different songs from their discography for analysis, I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing just how much fun this band has with what they do with their tiny budget lol. Their video for 'Faster than Light' is either really funny or really freaky haha 😅 Hopefully you get to see her do a little opera too and, while it doesnt have a video, "The Wind that Shapes the Land" is pretty epic.

Even more impressive than Britney's stamina in singing like that through a whole show (and this is only part of her range) is that her favourite activity after a show is to find the nearest karaoke bar and blow the roof off that, too. As a former athlete, she does not seem to lack core strength or stamina in the slightest. I am particularly impressed by her clear diction even at full belt.

That same kind of sound was done in movies like Halloween and an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Running Man. It's meant to evoke feelings of suspense. However, I have a video for you to react to! Brittney Slayes, karaoke cover of Queen of the Reich by Queensryche Reacting to this video will show that Brittney's talent isn't autotuned in the least -- and you'll be able to hear how good she really is! Edit: Aaliyah, I consider Brittney Slayes to have the best vocal stamina (holding the length of the note) of any vocalist in the world. In one song, she holds 2 vocal phrases for a total of 58 seconds (one for 30 seconds, the second phrase for 28 seconds; the phrases were also back-to-back). Not only was she singing a phrase, but at the same time, she is changing notes and frequencies. And believe me, I usually can hear a vocal "break" that denotes a singer taking a breath -- and with Brittney, she can hold a phrase for a very long period of time, sustaining the same vocal pressure and loudness throughout the phrase. That being said, I have another singer for you to listen to: Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. There's a reason why his nickname is "The Human Air Raid Siren." The performance I highly recommend reacting to is: Hallowed Be Thy Name, Iron Maiden, Live, 1982. Note: Most people would say to react to the "Rock N Rio" performance in 2001, but the 1982 performance is the first live performance of Bruce Dickinson -- and it shows what kind of talent Bruce Dickinson has had for the last 40 years. Plus, Hallowed Be Thy Name is what metalheads like me consider to be "art," because only in metal could you have a song that is about a man in prison about to be hung at the prison's gallows -- and how he deals with his own impending death.
