It’s AURORA. That’s what makes it special. Because she is just what everybody needs to be. Her message to the world is in her (self-written) lyrics. She has a few covers, but what she wrote herself is what she want to give the world.

Nice reaction. Liked it very much. It is her song (= she picked herself to sing it :P). Generally all songs (not courting covers and some cooperation's with other artists) are written by her. And it is even more amazing as she has not formal education and she is a songwriter, co-producer also learnt to play piano etc. She is just a natural artist. This whole concert is just 1h of pure magic. And she of course has more great performances and music :). Hope you will still react for her.

What a coincidence, had the great pleasure to see Aurora live last Tuesday in Berlin. Again your reaction is so convincing, reflected and insightful. And - at least to me - looking at your smile and countenance - adds so much empathy. Besides, Aurora's songs and beautiful voice are often called fairylike, ethereal and even magical (not to forget her unique expressionistic performance). Seeing her live added a fascinating and bit unexpected quality: This graceful person can evolve to a rocking powerpack in an instant. Performing "Running With The Wolves" and "The Seed" turned the 'Tempodrom' into a vibrating Rock-Stage. And her remarks referring to the chorus "You Can Not Eat Money" showed how deeply she is connected to nature and the the task of all of us: care for this beautiful garden we have and MUST preserve. Great reaction, stay you and all loved-ones well and blessed 👏👏🎼🤗🙏🤝👍

Hello, dear Aaliyah ! I just came home from work and the first thing I saw when I switched on my computer, was THIS reaction video... so tell me, did I promise too much ? I think it was worth reacting to this special song, wasn't it. I could see only from your facial expression already, how much you enjoyed this song. Your words and analysis was very well done, as always. But as oithers have already mentioned, you should really take the time and react to the whole concert. It's magical from beginning to end. 9 original songs, composed by Aurora, and 3 covers... believe me, dear Aaliyah, you won't regret putting all the effort into making this long reaction video and we, the subscribers would be more than happy and delighted to watch and experience it together with you. I can even give you some information about each and every song she performs in this venue, which is, by the way, the oldest and most important cathedral in Norway, situated in Torndheim, built between 1060 and 1300, where each and every King and Queen of Norway has been crowned so far. It is also the world's most northern cathedral. Normally, there are no concerts whatsoever at this place. But to worship Aurora, they made an exception for her ! It's their way of showong her, what a hiǵh status she has already gained as an artist in Norway. So now, to encourage you to listen and react to the whole concert, I will give you some information about each and every song she performs there : 1) Nature boy : A classic and often covered jazzy song by Nat King Cole from the late 40s 2) Little boy in the grass : She wrote this song with 15, after the so-called Utoya massacre in Norway, where a guy called Breivik shot 77 people randomly, mostly children and young adults... and this little boy in the grass, that Aurora is singing about, and whom she was friends with, was one of those victims. In this song, she tries to get along with the grief she has after the loss. 3) Under stars : She wrote it with 17 and she said : “It’s about us. About the people we’ve lost through time, and how we handle that loss. The guilt of still being alive when they are not, and the hope that they might only be sleeping, maybe still dreaming, under the stars." 4) Winter bird : (I already wrote something about the meaning of this song in the comments to your reaction video to this song) 5) Walking in the air : Cover of a Christmas song by Howard Blake from the album "The snowman" 6) Lucky : (You already know what this song is about) 7) (Runaway) : Written by Aurora with 11 years, it's about escaping from school (which she didn't like very much) but then realising that she belongs and finally wants to be back home. 8) Soft universe : This song possibly discusses the pain of living in the world and suggests that this pain can be alleviated with the love of someone else who can make a hard and unforgiving world into a “soft” and lovely one, but this depends on the person who listens to the song, as AURORA has stated that the songs from this albubm can have different meanings to everyone, depending on how deep you dive into them. 9) Through the eyes of a child : Aurora felt that as an adult, you often only see the bad things on earth and there are moments where she would rather be a child again and see / feel the world through the eyes / skin of a child, because as a child, everything you see and feel is pure, innocent and peaceful. 10) It happened quite : A song about domestic violence and abuse, described with a strong imagery and told "through the flower" (if you know what I mean) 11) Murder song /(5,4,3,2,1) : A song about mercy killing, inspired by a local newspaper article, that Aurora read, in which a man killed his wife, because he could not stand it anymore, seeing her wife suffering from a severe and probably incurabkle disease... Aurora tells this story - in a very impressive way - from the view of the victim. 12) Life on Mars : A hauntingly beautiful cover of the David Bowie classic from 1974 Best wishes : Gerry

Greetings from Scotland! This is an Aurora original that she wrote herself. As my other favourite unique singer in the world, Aurora doesn't just "sing a song", she tells the whole story and acts it out on the stage. She feels the passion, pain and emotions as if it were herself experiencing them. I think it takes a very special singer and an exceptionally special person to convey those feelings to their audience so strongly! Even without lyrics, the immense emotion comes through. Singers of the calibre of Aurora and Diana Ankudinova leave you in absolutely no doubt what they are singing about, as it should be! Great reaction as always Aaliyah! Something a little different from Diana at a concert just days ago. "Hang Glider" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZq9kH93ot1optE if you're interested?

You are amazing! I'm glad I found you. I really appreciate your humbleness and non-pretentiousness. I love your attitude expressed in your disclaimer, that your reactions are all about appreciating the talent of the singers you react to, applying your knowledge, and being open to learning new things from them What an amazing and wonderful approach. I wish more reactors had your attitude, those with more experience not a smidgen of our wisdom. I particularly find it offensive and amazing pretentious and arrogant when some reactos deign to acdtually grade the performances. Your appreciation of every artist (I listened to several of your reactions after finding you doing a reactoin to Angelina Jordan's "My Funny Valentine" is so evident just in your transparent body language. I break into such a beautiful big smile when you like something the singer id doing---and that is a lot of the time. You are so talented but also your approach by being kind of low key, really packs more power, genuine power that comes straight from your heart, than others who are more judgemental are. Thanks and keep up the good work!!!

Great reaction! Check out Lucky from Nidarosdomen concert.... She wrote it when she was 9! The entire Nidarosdomen concert are insainly good.... Only Murder Song I prefere at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. Aurora has said in intervjues that pitch perfect is not her priority, the message of the song is. I guess it's like when she sings running with the Wolfs and she almost howl like a wolf, it might not be "correct singing" but it need to that way to get that wild "primal" feel.....
