I agree. I am currently trying to get some footage for a Mourning Aix solo, but the fight can get stressful due to its camera and the bugs. From my experience, even if you parry the boss, you can take damage at a delayed rate. There can also be times when you parry and don't take damage. So, there can be conditions that must be met for a no-damage parry, which can correlate to doing the parry early? Also, the boss has a tendency to "stand" on top of your character if you are under it once it "lands." Maybe you experienced this, but even if you have invincibility when performing perfect dodges against the feathers, they have a chance to hit you anyway. It is a shame that these bosses are most likely at the bottom of the pecking order in terms of bug fixes and game optimization. Hence, why there are still bugs since the last CBT.

@@NemesisUmbral agreed, another take from me that only happen when playing with aalto, is that feather strike goes wild when he attacked aalto's clone, it become a full arena aoe with a random timing to dodge. That's what frustrates me a lot while fighting this boss

Its still an experimental build, but currently I'm using 2 Sierra and 2 lingering, but better if you go 5 Sierra with feilian as a main echo

dont forget the grapple, its best to be used with aalto's mid air attack since it is stronger and faster than his normal (grounded) combo. although i would have used feilian instead of mech to further boost his damage using the complete sierra set.

Yes, his aerial probably the strongest for dps, but it doesn't adds up to the mist stacks sadly. as for the echo, yes feilian is way better than mech, I'm currently experimenting with stuffs and testing if mech is actually viable or not (he buffs attack, but I think the buff is not good enough to compare with feilian's damage)

@@LunarityYT feilian's damage? no, the buff from sierra 5set (aero dmg) is way better than the lingering tunes set (atk increase over time) which is from the mech. thats why adding all the buffs and switching from verina already gave aalto tons of buff and the mid air attack combo is way bigger and faster compared to the normal combo and using mist missiles. you can even jump backward using grapple to shoot thorugh the mist.

@@reffk5306 ohh, I'm not using 5 lingering btw, it's 2 siera and 2 lingering, I'm not using 5 siera because I'm doing mostly solo fight before, so I can't utilize the set 5 effects when doing solo. But I'm currently working on migrating my echoes to 5 Sierra since diff 5 bosses are so tanky my aalto can't keep up with his raw dmg

@@LunarityYT yes because atk buff is inferior than elemental dmg buff in terms of dps. my aalto with 30% (3cost echo) + 30% (3cost echo) + 10% (sierra 2set) + 30% (sierra 5set) + 12% (feilian buff) = 112% aero damage bonus, using the grapple mid air combo usually shreds every enemies including bosses, to the point that i dont even need a subdps. also since aalto's kits are revolved around normal attacks, aalto mains like me should focus on normal atk bonus, crit rate, then crit damage on each echoes substat.

He works best as sub dps, you still can build him as a main dps but his dmg is not as great as other meta main dps

does his 100% crit heavy attack benefit him at all? like can you squeeze in a heavy attack right after ult every 30 seconds for that s6 50% heavy attack damage boost? or would that interrupt the mist buildup too much

I don't think his heavy attack is good enough, since his heavy atk scaling is not that great. His biggest source of damage is his auto, if you are S3+ then your auto will deal 1,5-2x dmg if shot through the mist, so usually the combo I use is ult>1 NA rotation>aerial atk>skill>aerial atk for burst damage

Thanks for the reply! Yeah i dont understand why he has heavy attack upgrades in his forte and s6...i think if they somehow make his A5 considered heavy attack instead of %dmg buff it would make sense and make him viable for main dps with s6
