Same here in the US. People don’t realize it. I’ve worked at plenty of restaurants/ fast food & people are disgusting here. I worked at paps johns & we aren’t even required to wear gloves , id see people “fix” themselves , dig in their noses & use the bathroom all without washing their hands once. & you literally make the dough , put on the cheese/toppings with your bare hands. So. It’s everywhere. As long as your hands are clean , you wash them FREQUENTLY & you don’t touch ANY thing but the food , it should be perfectly fine.

People complaining of no gloves, but bet most of those same people will be on their germ infested phone and eating at the same time, will use cash or hand over there debit card and eat right after, and will walk into a restaurant and eat without always washing their hands first. When someone is wearing gloves it’s not magic. Just as much as there’s proper hand washing techniques there’s also glove food safety practices that (sorry to burst your bubble) most don’t follow. Those people wearing gloves: did they wash their hands before and after putting them on, did they change them every 30 minutes or after every customer, and not touch anything before or during the food preparation that was contaminated? I am Indian and I approve that this is unhygienic. There is nothing to be butt hurt about this. This is indeed why we as a public in India seem to be little bothered about.
