Synopsis:
Choices... to choose between right or wrong is simple, but what defines one's life is the decision between the greater of two goods or the lesser of two evils. This is the advice that Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) receives from her father just as she is about to venture out into the world of her own for the very first time. Little does she know that these very words will shape her life.
Zooni, a blind Kashmiri girl, meets Rehan Qadri (Aamir Khan), a local Delhi tour guide and an incorrigible flirt. Her friends warn her against this good-for-nothing roadside Romeo, but she chooses to ignore them. It is now her time to discover life and love. Is this really the right choice?
Rehan is fascinated by Zooni and wants her to see life as it should be seen, in its many colours. He promises her that the time spent with him will be the most precious in all her life. Zooni sees Delhi, life and love like she never has before, because of Rehan.
What Zooni doesn't know is that Rehan has another side of his life that he has kept from her - something that can not only change her life, but can also destroy it.

I don't think her intention was to offend him in any way. Kajol has a great personality, she's able to speak her mind without thinking twice about it. Not many Bollywood actresses can be themselves on screen without acting fake or being fake. Kajol is real, she doesn't care about what anyone says about her, as long as she's being herself that's all that matters. I'm glad that she doesn't act all fake and graceful 'cause she'd be phony, acting like someone she's not. She's a great role model because she teaches us that fame or popularity should never make us change who we are. We should stay true to ourselves no matter what. Aamir and Kajol have great chemistry though Srkajol will always be the best forever and always jodi.

They probably didnt get along that well coz they were too different and didnt know each other well apart from her knowing that he is an pedantic perfectionist and he knowing that she is a loud, outspoken, brash actress :) they both are in Bollywood for a long time and after so many years you`ll have that characteristics that people know you for... after getting to know each other better at Fanaa, they realized that they can learn from each other and that being different isnt always a bad thing.

Fanaa was definitely a very very good film. Fantastic effort by Yash Raj Films and of course Aamir Khan and Kajol. I read that Aamir will next be seen alongside Kate Winslet which is really incredible and so exciting, I really hope that happens, that will be awesome, two very brilliant and immensely talented actors coming together again and I also heard that if not Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz may be given the role opposite Aamir. I can't wait for that.,

Both are maybe the best of the best and re Fanaa I cannot recall any other movie where both hero and heroine did the very best not only in their careers but in cinema as a whole, and you can see in this interview both try to be very friendly but they have had a history of conflict and yet Fanaa turned out to be the near perfect movie in Indian history because both forced the other to do better in a virtuous cycle - bless both and bless the folks who made this movie - AK

I'm not sure what the purpose of this is exactly... But I LOVE both of them individually and their chemistry as a couple is electric, almost rivals that of SRK & Kajol. I really hope they do another film together. Yeah their comfort level isn't the same as SRK & Kajol but I don't know why everyone's acting like they hate each other.
