Nice! They sound full. Can tell the strength is in, lower brass, Euphos & T-Bones thumping.. I loved the fact they were outside to give us a real indication of their sound. Can't wait to see what they do in drills and 5ths this year with song selection. Loved that they were, being unique with the "I wanna rock," surprised me. As always, A1 nice videography work here. 👍 AAMU!

Alright MMW, we got some work to do for sure. Gotta make sure we stay focus and work on the areas we're weak at. I'm happy for the new season and it looks very promising. Percussion, we need to clean it up in the background and keep steady fellas💪🏾. Fight Song sounds amazing as always❤. I'm not going to dive to far into this video as this is the first performance but I have high hopes we'll be a top contender and spoken amongst the best in the SWAC.

Over all good showing. A lot of versatility shown here. The band seems to skew younger. It tracks with a reported large graduating class last season and sizable crab class this season. Some arrangements that stood out to me for different reasons include: - Secret Garden - I Just Want To Rock - Candy fanfare - Sum 2 Prove - the last song. Warren and whoever else is arranging definitely took some risk in arranging. At times they highlighted the strength of the band as well as exposed areas of much needed improvement. Overall I think the risk are good and challengingly appropriate. The band seem to do better on the more technically demanding selections and produced a more cohesive sound at the ff/fff sections of some selections. Overall good showing. I don’t think they need to add anymore to the book until much later in the season. I would continue growing and strengthening the good elements that are already there. MMW1x

Great tape. Definitely some things for mmw to clean up but one thing is for sure this band has some power that if they cleanly tap into can be lethal. Once they gel into them Arrangements this can be a scary ensemble to have to battle…..

Honestly AAMU director should recruit more. AAMU is the largest hbcu in Alabama and no excuse not to have atleast 24 tubas and way more brass.

The band director said personally he doesn’t care for a big band. It’s quality over quantity. I’ve literally seen AAMU with 12 tubas at Honda and the was LOUD!! I’ll take 12 goons over 24 okay players

As a former band member under Mr.Yates.... they sound balanced, but I agree, Mr.Wright needs to recruit or needs more money.....MMW is losing its grit and style... also the percussion section looks sloopy as well.... looks like Minor high school to be honest.... nothing against these kids but the SWAC is going to shit on them.
