So, I tried that "time travel" glitch and went to Windfall, with different results... For starters, the ship's door wasn't interactive. I couldn't try to go in and I wasn't asked for a password. So, I decided to try sneaking into the bomb shop. The camera didn't get stuck, the game didn't softlock, and it was almost like the glitch got reset. Weird, but still pretty cool.

If you go on the couch perfectly to the left pause and resume you will clip into the couch then pick up the tv remote hold a bomb throw then side hop to the right fly to this pixel get the tv remote to move a pixel to the right and then pause then the bomb will push you into the cutscene to skip school

But actually the gossip stone skip can actually be circumvented. Because if you save and quit on the dark pirate ship, you'll be at the endless night part of the game. At that point you can just sail to the submarine northeast of northern fairy isle and jump down to the moblins. Since you'll be swordless, the moblins will think that you are sneaking around forsaken fortress and you'll be sent to the forsaken fortress jail. Then you can just grab your sword.

Came here to say this after testing it out myself. The fortress will still be in pitch black darkness, so you’ll have to know your way around reasonably well, but you can trigger the missing scene and get your sword back, then just sit through the Helmaroc King cutscene to get sent back to Windfall and get the bombs from the pirate ship.

Just in case anyone was curious, there IS a very convoluted way to get out of the situation he gets into starting at 6:57. You do lose your sword once you board the pirate ship at Windfall and end up at the Forsaken Fortress, but there’s a way to get it back and fix your progress with a bit of work. Once you end up at the fortress, like the video says, if you save and quit the game, you’ll be taken back to Windfall Island without your sword. From there, all you have to do is find a Moblin. All of the Moblins in the game are programmed to capture Link if you don’t have a sword in your inventory-no matter where you are, if you’re seen by one in this state, you get warped instantly to the Forsaken Fortress and thrown into the cell. Once that’s done, you can go down to the fortress courtyard, trigger the Gossip Stone cutscene that you missed before, then go up to the tower and get your sword from outside Aryll’s room. Once you sit through the Helmaroc King cutscene again (or just save, quit, and reload), you’ll get taken back to Windfall, you can enter and leave a building to make the pirate ship appear, and once you go inside it, everything will be as it should be and you can get the bombs from Niko, as intended. The only tricky part of this trick is that the Forsaken Fortress exterior will still be completely dark, like in this video. But if you trigger the missing scene, then save and reload to get back to Windfall without your sword, then get caught by another Moblin, the fortress should go back to normal and you can climb to the top and get your sword back that way. Or if you really want to, you can skip the sword and try to finish the game without it.

This is super impressive dude! When ever i see a glitch video like this, not enough research is usually done and gaps are made in the presentation. Either tricks are poorly explained or there are inaccuracies within the video. I'm blown away by how well you explained these and how many tricks/glitches you included. Once i saw that you looked at Nap, gymnast, abahbob, and cosmo's things i knew why you did this video so well. And im not just saying this, im a speedrunner for the original wind waker and HD. Don't spam the A button. Try to time it. I like to listen to Link for cues (and obviously watch him), but just keep practicing and you should eventually get it. (Also, I find a Pro Controller is way easier than the Gamepad to do this on).

A side effect of the Hyrule Puzzle Skip, is when doing the jump parry on an Iorn Knuckle, you won't be able to knock off the head armor unless the body armor is already off

The gossip stone skip glitch isn't actually a softlock. There's a submarine somewhere in the northwest part of where the game will let you go that has Moblins inside. Because you don't have a sword, getting near the Moblins will trigger their early game behavior and you'll end up in the Forsaken Fortress jail cell. From there you can go outside to find that everything is still pitch-black, at which point you can trigger the gossip stone cutscene and proceed somewhat normally. Alternatively, if you beat the Forsaken Fortress again while it is pitch black without triggering the gossip stone cutscene, the game will play all of the cutscenes that normally play at the end of the first visit to the Forsaken Fortress, but when it would transition to Link in the boat at Windfall, it dumps you off next to where the boat should be without the boat being there. The boat is parked at the dock where it normally ends up if you enter and exit a building on Windfall. Once you're back on Windfall, it will be night and raining as if the pirate ship was there, but there is no pirate ship, or any NPCs outside for that matter. If you travel to other islands, you'll find that not only are there no NPCs outside on any island, but the pirate ship is at Outset island where it is during the very beginning of the game, after looking at the postman through the telescope and before rescuing Tetra, where it's stationary in the distance. Entering and exiting any building, cave, etc. will set the game back to normal, with the pirate ship on Windfall again. Of course, because you never got the gossip stone cutscene, you can now infinitely loop the glitch as many times as you want until you watch the gossip stone cutscene.

Recently I have found an easier method of going inside windfall island (as a bird). Use a pear to possess a gull and fly behind the rich man's house. It's easy to clip through the building. Then try to fly directly down, now you are under windfall. Just don't touch the water.

If you skip the heart container dropped by the helmaroc king, or do the helmaroc king skip, you can still find the heart container in front of the chest where you got the skull hammer

I actually skip the gossip stone by accident few months ago. That was really weird but there is a way to fix this glitch! Just find a moblin with a lamp and it will bring you back to Forsaken Fortress. From there just trigger the cutscene with the gossip stone and get back your sword :P

Fun Tip: inside the sewer system of the cabana, there's a little trick you can do to skip pretty much 90% of the puzzle. When you reach areas where the skull hammer trigger is behind a gate, what you can do is do a jumping slam with the skull hammer at an angle against the side of the wall where the switch is located on the other side. It may take a couple tries to do, but if you do this correctly you'll end up hitting the switch on the other side of the wall, which will allow you to skip the vast majority of the sewer puzzle!

I actually found a glitch in this game. In the Wind Temple, go to one of the springs. Put on the iron boots while you're on the spring. Now take them off, but crouch right after you do so, before the spring launches you into the air. You'll remain crouched, and the spring will have not shot you up into the air.

Also, the room with the purple flower in Forbidden Woods, after dropping it into the water, you obviously drop down with it, now jump off a nearby ledge into the water next to it. If you time it right, while his head is still under the water, you can swim under the flower and stay there. Now you can look underwater and see Link swim.

One time I roll clipped in link's house under the shield. Then the shield cutscene happened which meant the sword appeared but the game was confused because it game me the master sword. I also got the wind waker which meant I had king of red lions. I couldn't move when I found him so I reset my gamecube. I then spawned with tingle and got his item. I then found from there I could go straight to hyrule and speed ran the game in 10 minutes. I think this was because the game code didn't know what to do and unlocked the cutscene. This requires the sword but since I never trained with the sword I never got the hero sword. The game lagged so it could figure out what to do and since I needed a sword to unlock this cutscene, it gave me the master sword. But before getting it, I require the wind waker and the king of red lions. So it gave me them. Dont ask about the tingle tuner or hyrule. tried it in wii u but it didn't work
