That's not the kashmiri language, her mother was speaking in kishtwari Language which is spoken by Hindus of kishtwar , it has some similarities with kashmiri as well as Pahari

80-85 percent vocabulary of kishtwari matches with kashmiri language. But 20 percent vocabulary comes from some pahadi dialects as well. Kishtwari is a dialect (boli), not a language (bhasha)

@@Nameless-iz3ko no grecsion wrongly identified Kishtwari as a dialect , he actually observed kashmiri dialect spoken by muslims of Kishtwar , scholars like siddheshwar verma and Son of soil Dc sharma have considered Kishtwari as a separate language, it has similarities with kashmiri because it was separated from the same Sanskrit origin , even Kashmiris from the valley can't even understand Kishtwari, and also culturally and ethnically Kishtwaris are different from kashmiris

@@NeerajRajputhp To each their own. Can you show me the papers where he was proven wrong. What is your assumption and your source? There are muliple linguistic researches done on kishtwari-kashmiri similarity. . I didn't say that culturally kishtwaris r same as that of Kashmiis. But similar to kashmiris and pahadis . There is a thick line between "similar" and "same". Also, kishtwaris dont have the common ethnic origins amongst hindus. Some of them have kashmir origin ,some have himachal origin and even some rajputs trace their ethnicity to rajasthan , bengal which applies to not only kishtwar but any place in India. Debates can be endless and opinions are multiple. There is not proven fact. Peronally I have read The history of kishtwar by DC Sharma. He was an eminent personality but not a linguist. His research is based on his own experience living in kishtwar and his methodology lacks field research. He hasnt clearly said that kishtwar is a separate language and he has identified multiple sub-dialects within kishtwari language which r spoken in outskirts of town and those sub-dialects r intelligible with kashmiri language. This is a vast topic and Linguistics have different views upon this.
